About Beaches® Resorts and Beaches® Negril

There are several Beaches® Resorts in the Caribbean, two in Jamaica and one in Turks and Caicos, with another soon-to-be-open resort in St. Vincent and the Grenadines. Beaches® Resorts cater to families of all ages, with all-inclusive options that you might expect, such as gourmet dining and drinks, kids’ club, and other entertainment. Plus, there are many things you may not anticipate as part of your package – like tips, airport transfers, waterpark, golf, scuba diving, and non-motorized water sports. Not to mention, they’re just minutes from stunning attractions and thrilling activities off-property, which you can arrange through Island Routes Adventures.

Beaches® Negril sits about 90 minutes from Montego Bay Airport (MBJ) (or a bit more or a bit less depending on traffic, we found). It’s nestled on Seven-Mile Beach, one of the best beaches in the world. There are three villages to stay in, including newly built villas right on the beach. Additionally, there are 10+ dining options, a kids’ club, a teen club, and a video game lounge. Families can also enjoy the on-site waterpark with a lazy river, spa, sports facilities, a water sports shop, and two main pools. With so much to offer, it’s no wonder that families find this to be one of the best all inclusive family resorts in Jamaica!

Note, at this time, improvements are also happening. But in phases to minimize the impact on visitors. So, the resulting amenities are another reason your family will love Beaches® Negril!

What Makes Beaches® Negril Unique for Families?

No reviews of Beaches® Negril are complete without talking bout the wonderful staff! Ask any guest about what makes this property unique or ideal for families, and the first response will likely be “the staff.” The Jamaican people are so hospitable and friendly that you’ll feel right at home at the resort and understand why your family will love Beaches® Negril.

Plus, the position on Seven-Mile Beach is another perk! Note it’s a public beach, so vendors walk up and down offering crafts and other goods or activities like parasailing and jet boating. Then, compared with the other Beaches® Resorts, its size is medium, which families love. It is in-between, not as big as Turks and Caicos, and has a bit more to offer than Ocho Rios. As such, you might find it “just right” for your family trip to Jamaica.

Unique Family Accommodation Options Available

As one of the best family resorts in Jamaica, it shows in the lodging options. There are many room styles to choose from, whether a one-bedroom with a trundle bed in the living room, a spacious two-queen room with a view, or a two-bedroom suite with butler assistance! Then, the concierge and butler-level rooms give families some more assistance in navigating their stay, and special events like happy hours and meet and greets, though any room puts you relatively close to the action. Our Beaches Negril review would be remiss without sharing the many room configurations idea for families here!
