Car Seat Laws
Children must ride in a car seat until at least 40 lbs. Children must ride in a booster until age 7, or until 80 lbs AND 4’9”.
To legally drive a car in Canada, you’ll need a driver’s license issued by the government of your province or territory. You must have it with you whenever you’re driving.

Gratuities are seldom included in Canadian restaurants. It is customary to tip approximately 15-20% on the total bill before tax, less for poor service, more for truly exceptional service. Many restaurants may charge an automatic 15-18% gratuity for larger groups.
While violent crime against tourists is rare, petty and property crime is common in the country’s bigger cities.
