Hotel Mooshaus is a fantastic choice for a family ski vacation in Austria, and when it comes to dining options, they don’t disappoint. Included in your stay is a half-board option that guarantees guests a lavish breakfast and dinner every day. Here’s some more information about dining with kids at Hotel Mooshaus!

Breakfast

Picture this: wake up to the aroma of fresh-baked bread, sizzling bacon, fluffy scrambled eggs, and decadent pastries from the hotel’s breakfast buffet. Whether you’re in the mood for fresh fruit or something more substantial like sausage, there’s so much variety to choose from.

My kids loved the hotel’s extensive juice bar, where they juiced their own vegetables and fruits, like oranges, carrots, apples, etc. Meanwhile, as parents, we appreciated how we could sip on hot coffee or tea while enjoying stunning views of the surrounding mountains through floor-to-ceiling windows. Plus, you’ll even get to try some regional Austrian delicacies that you won’t find anywhere else!

Lunch

Two kids enjoy a snack in the lobby of Hotel Mooshaus.

After a fun-filled morning on the slopes, families can satisfy their hunger with the hotel’s lunch menu. Plus, on sunnier days, you can even head out to the sun terrace to enjoy the view with your meal!

On the other side of the valley, families can also check out The Kaiser-Max-Hütte for an afternoon pit stop.

6-Course Dinner

Even though all of the on-site dining options at Hotel Mooshaus are second to none, the 6-course dinner is the epitome of lavishness that will particularly leave your taste buds fluttering with joy! This includes a lovely salad buffet, plus two soups, an appetizer, and 3 main course options. Families can choose from a selection of 2 meat options, 1 fish, and 1 vegetarian option, plus one special Tyrolean delicacy.

There’s also a cheese buffet option. And let’s not forget about the dessert! Save some space for ice cream, including various sprinkles and other toppings that little ones will love.

Alongside the main adult menu, the hotel also offers a Kids’ Buffet menu for dinner. It’s a bit limiting in terms of food options, however, the simple dishes like fish fingers, pasta, mini schnitzels, mashed potatoes, etc. are sure to appeal to kids. Undoubtedly, it’s a great option if you have picky eaters. Though kids who are a bit more adventurous can easily find something they love at the regular dinner buffet.
