“In-Park” Lodging Options for Zion National Park

Location is everything when it comes to visiting United States National Parks, so it’s no surprise some of the best accommodations are located directly within the parks. So, if you’re searching for where to stay in Zion National Park with kids, keep reading!

Zion National Park Lodge

If your family wants to be in the action of the park, stay at the only in-park lodging available in Zion, the Zion National Park Lodge. With a rustic outdoor feel, the lodge offers a range of room types, including cabins, hotel rooms, suites, and accessible rooms. In a family setting, we recommend snagging a cabin or a suite. Though the cabins will be a bit smaller, they’ll give you some privacy from the rest of the property. Meanwhile, the suites are a bit larger and have separate sleeping room.

Why Families Love It

Since this is the only accommodation in the park, you’ll save precious time in the morning getting your day started. You won’t have to travel to the park; your family will wake up and be able to walk into the oasis of trees, cliffs, and beautiful water features. Though the Zion National Park Lodge doesn’t have a pool, you’ll find yourself directly across the street from the trailhead of the Emerald Pools Trail. After a quick jaunt on the path, you’ll be at the most beautiful swimming location that a pool can’t beat! As a bonus, work with the staff to arrange horseback riding excursions through the park or venture out on your own once the stars are out – no one will be disappointed with how vibrant the stars are in the park.
