Little fish at heart will love swimming along beautiful Cable Beach, with low-key waves, clear water, and the occasional raft to jump from. For more heart-pumping fun, Baha Bay Water Park – included in every stay – offers non-stop action across 15 beachfront acres. A lazy river, thrilling slides, several kids’ play areas, and a wave pool make this a star feature of any family trip. Add on pools offering swimming, cliff jumping, and even an aquarium; animal encounters with sea life and birds (including flamingos who go on parade daily!), mini golf, sports facilities, and an arcade, and everyone will see why families will love a stay at Baha Mar in the Bahamas!

Why Parents Will Love a Stay at Baha Mar

The Explorers Club, for kids ages 3-12, offers fun-filled programming throughout the day and into the evening. Kids can participate in a themed evening celebration, enjoy wildlife encounters while exploring the resort, or express themselves through arts and crafts. And while the kids are busy, parents can take advantage of the ESPA Spa or Sense Spa, get in a round of golf, or try their luck at the main or beachside casinos. Looking for something by the water? The Baha Mar Beach Club offers cabanas and lounge chairs to reserve. And you can apply most of the fee toward the rental as a credit for food and beverages. And if you want to bring the kids along, those older than 11 need to have their own chairs reserved.

Where To Eat at Baha Mar

Adults and kids alike can enjoy cuisines from around the world, meaning a trip to Baha Mar eateries can be a journey in itself! Whether a fancy (but still kid-friendly) steakhouse like Carna, the Instagram-worthy treats at Sugar Factory, tasty Japanese fusion at Katsuya, or a casual beachside bite from El Jefe food truck, there are more than enough dining options to pick from for every taste and mood.

The food and beverages at Baha Mar are known for being quite pricey. Luckily, there are some ways to save a little at the resort. (Besides just bringing your own food and drinks with you!). For example, there’s a mini market at the Grand Hyatt. Here, you can grab milk to help create a quick cereal breakfast. The pool bars and water park sell refillable cups for soda and lemonade. They pay for themselves in just a few uses. At select restaurants, kids 5 and under eat free from the children’s menu. This deal is one reason families will love a stay at Baha Mar in the Bahamas!

Wondering where to stay with kids in the Bahamas? Grand Hyatt Baha Mar is the most family-friendly hotel in the Bahamas at the Baha Mar resort complex. It’s also the most affordable of the three options. The large oceanfront resort has 1,800 rooms, including 230 luxury suites with one, two, or three bedrooms. Rooms look out over the sparkling blue ocean or over the fountains, which perform a light show each evening. For a luxury hotel in the Bahamas that’s also great for kids, book your stay in The Reserve. It’s a boutique experience within Grand Hyatt Baha Mar. It features a dedicated check-in desk, butler service for premium suites, and a private lounge serving daily continental breakfast.

Rosewood Baha Mar combines 5-star luxury with the warmth of the Bahamas. Each of the 230 rooms is impressively designed. Guests can select between room categories, including king and double queen options. Larger families can find their home away from home in one of the suites or villas, with a butler on hand to attend to every need. Visitors searching for a luxury boutique hotel in the Bahamas with kids will no doubt fall in love with the opulence and ambiance at Rosewood Baha Mar.

Described as stylish and playful, this sophisticated property is the first SLS resort in the Caribbean. All of the 299 rooms at SLS Baha Mar have floor-to-ceiling windows. Guests can also enjoy the stunning views of sparkling water and white sand. Standard king and queen rooms and suites and residential-style accommodations are available. The SLS Baha Mar is known for its spirited nightlife at the Bond nightclub. So, if you’re looking for after-dark fun, this luxury hotel in the Bahamas is your spot!

Enjoy the Bahamas!
