Another perk is that kids can tube for free every Tuesday and Wednesday with the purchase of an adult tubing session (up to 2 kids per adult.)

Tahoe Snowmobiles & Tubing

Tube Tahoe

TubeTahoe provides winter fun for the whole family in South Lake Tahoe! Located in the town of Meyers, the groomed snow tubing lanes are over 500 feet, making them some of the longest in the area. Plus, since they make snowmaking facilities, the conditions are more reliable throughout the season. Children between ages 6 and 12 can get a discount on tubing. Plus, mini tubers between the ages of 3 and 5 can ride with an adult.

Families should book tickets in advance for weekday reservations from 10 am to 4 pm. Weekends are from 9 am to 4 pm on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Hansen’s Snow Tube & Saucer Hill

Head to Hansen’s Snow Tube & Saucer Hill for the ultimate day of family fun in Lake Tahoe. Located around 10 minutes on foot from Heavenly Resort in South Lake Tahoe, this 400-foot-long hill is open to all ages. It’s a small hill with two tubing lanes and a path to walk back up and down, making it a bit no frills. However, the secluded property is great for those who want to reconnect with nature. Kids 5 and over can buy a 1-hour session (cash only), and kids 4 and under can tube for free.
